The video montage would have made the folks at The Daily Show proud.

3. I have noticed lately
that the line separating Countdown & The Daily Show is getting very fuzzy. Some of the picture captions are a punny as TDS. Whoever selects the music, on Countdown, that comes up as they go to commercial, is brilliant.

4. countdown
has always had funny segments, like "Let's Play Oddball."

But Olbermann has always tried to make the spin part of the story. Similar theme to The Daily Show. In this case, the spin is so absurd, it comes across as funny.

But people believe this crap. On JABBS, there are conservatives posting that sooner or later, a page is going to accuse a Democrat. And that the Democrats planted the story, or the pages, or something. People who drink the Kool Aid try to come up with all sorts of rationalizations, to protect themselves against the truth.

5. the only problem w/ that, is some of the
IMs & emails are THREE years old! Now anyone thinking Democrats are that organized, is clearly grasping at the last slip of turf as they plunge over the edge.

6. furthermore
ABC's Brian Ross said that his source was Republican, not Democrat.

In addition to the montage on Countdown, last night on WABC radio, host Jerry Agar said that Foley's e-mails were only guilty of being "chatty." The rationalizations never stop for these guys.
