Jeebus! I just realized I miss Spiro Agnew!
I'd welcome him back — or any other regular old crooked politician.

8. Spiro Who?
PLEASE NOTE: "Spiro Who?" was an actual campaign slogan, playing fun at Agnew's unusual last name and lack of familiarity with the national public. I am old enough to remember this absolutely useless bit of trivia. :)

Anybody else have a Nixon coloring book? "Here are his eyes. Color them shifty."

15. There was a similar slogan in an ad in '92
On teevee screens we simply saw, "President Quayle?"

And there was laughter in the background.

12. The Nixon bunch were evil scumbags...
but they also were evil geniuses compared to the evil dumbasses we got occupying the White House nowadays.

17. I want to see bu$hler's upper lip sweat the way Nixxon's did!
The closer Tricky Dick got to the edge, the more sweat one could see on his upper lip. The night that Rather got in his face ("No sir, Mr. President. Are you?") that sucker was shining like a bag of new pennies!
