Is anyone else watching the debate in Senate re: Rummy?
on cspan now.

The debate has changed to what is civil war....by the Republics of course. Ted Stevens up now, Warner before him. This doesn't matter because this is not a civil war. Stevens can't get a sentence out without stammering.

The issue isn't whether there is a civil war or not, the issue is (or should be) are we doing more harm than good? Of course no one is saying that. Too bad.

Stevens is saying "we should not dictate policy". That's their way out of doing anything about Bush. They sit back and say "its all about policy and Congress shouldn't be involved in policy.

3. Stevens... this man needs to be removed from public
can't even complete a sentence, and what he does get out makes no sense.

4. Kennedy was great. When this fails he needs to repeat what
he said to the public
All we wanted to do was protect our troops and they said NO!

5. the definition of "civil war" isn't that complicated
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=civil+war

civil war - a war between political factions or regions within the same country.

They can attempt to complicate the concept as much as they want at the peril of their own poll numbers. People are tired of this bs and the majority of Americans are finally realizing that arguing stuff like "is Iraq in a civil war?" an insult to our intelligence.
