USA Today: Bush rating best in six months
Posted 8/21/2006
By Susan Page and David Jackson, USA TODAY

....A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken Friday through Sunday put Bush's approval rating at 42%, the highest in six months. His approval rating on handling terrorism was 55%, the highest in more than a year....

Support for an unnamed Democratic congressional candidate over a Republican one has narrowed to 2 percentage points. For the past year, Democrats have led by much wider margins....

It's Gallup -- and they don't give the numbers in this article, and I can't find them. Does anybody else have more information and/or thoughts on this? Weren't we leading in the double digits?

5. I wouldn't believe everything I read about this.
And it is a hell of a long time til November.

One thing is pretty sure - people with strong feelings are going to vote. People with mixed feelings - not so sure.

It is a good reason to double check this election though.

I don't think they can cheat the same way twice without risking everything, personally.

Joe
