6. Amen as one who believes in a higher power

I'm sure we will be flamed by those who believe that WE are the only ones that can do something about it.

To that I say, I am working night and day and did since 2000 to see that he not be President of Amerika.

I will, as I am sure you and others will, continue to work like heck to see that he is removed from office.

However, I will still PRAY.

I just get a bit offended when people tell me prayers don't work.

I wish they would say that PRAYERS don't work for them. I can totally respect that ~ but I am the only person that can decide how PRAYER changes my life.

12. People have the right to believe in prayer if they so choose.
And no one else has the right to tell them they're wrong, or that they can't do it.

That's known as having respect for others. As long as what they're doing doesn't hurt anyone else, so be it. That's part of what's wrong with the world today, too many people think they have the right to force their agenda and their beliefs on others, like it or not.

3. God has nothing to do with it--WE do.
Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 11:18 AM by rocknation
There's nothing "miraculous" or "divine" about the Bush monarchy took vpower. It was the result of the planning of people are mortal as we are. It's up to each of us to make it happen--and don't leave it to god to do the converting!

On Edit: If you have a web page, here's something you can do to help.

Impeachment Vigils September 1, 2006
Submitted by davidswanson on Wed, 2006-08-16 16:39. Activism | Impeachment

Progressive Democrats of America and After Downing Street encourage you
to hold a vigil for impeachment on Friday evening, Sept. 1st,

preceded or followed by a meeting to dicuss and plan for Camp Democracy.

Enter your event into online system HERE.

Here's what's happening online the same day:

Starting at noon ET on September 1, 2006, and lasting 24 hours,
websites and blogs all across the internet are being asked to
replace their front pages with the single word "Impeach" in
simple white text on a black background.

Here's an example: http://impeachnet.net

Visitors to those sites and blogs will be able to click and link to the sites' usual front pages.
But first they will see a word that, standing alone, is as powerful as any word right now:
it is banned by our political and media leadership
but more popular among citizens and activists than perhaps any other.
It is both shocking and welcome.

For 24 hours, web surfers and blog readers will see that word first
when they visit their favorite sites.
In this way, we hope to get the public talking about the one tool
guaranteed by the Founders to restore our Constitutional Democracy.

Please encourage your favorite websites to take part in this action.

If you plan to take part, please let us know here:
http://www.impeachnet.net/blog/contact

Beginning September 5th, we will launch a non-partisan camp
for peace, democracy, and the restoration of the rule of law.
Camp Casey will move from Crawford, Texas, to Washington, D.C.,
to create a larger camp focused not only on ending the war but
also on righting injustices here at home and on holding accountable
the Bush Administration and Congress.

See? There is a lot we all can do!!

9. The Bushes are America's Borgias.
Not too far ahead in the future, the usage of the word, 'Bush' will surpass usage of the expletives 'Shit' or 'Fuck'.

13. Sometimes I think we are being punished
For what I don't know. Maybe for coming here massacring the original inhabitants stealing everything they had, or maybe for the enslavement of human beings. Maybe for using nuclear bombs, hell it maybe for something somebody did a thousand years ago and nobody remembers.
Whatever it was or if we are indeed being punished I don't think, if there is some omnipotent being kicking us in the chops that there is anything we can do to stop it.
We certainly haven't been good boys and girls.
