I trust Olhmert as much as I trust Bush.. CNN reporting Kyutusha Rockets..
being fired into South Lebanon.

Bush has soo discredited himself and his policies that I can't believe this is anything other than an attempt by Israel to start up the war again.

Could it be an Israeli spec ops unit trying to start something? Maybe.

Could it be Hizbollah? Maybe

But the fact of the matter is. The Bush Regime has soo shot themselves in the foot as far as being frank with the American people and the world that I can only view them as nothing but liars and Israel as a tool furthering their plans for more death.

1. I feel the same way with the way the Israeli spokes people slim on to
TV like used car salesman trying to pretend to care.

2. Hezbollah has everything to gain by maintaining good PR at this point...
...and Israel knows it. Israel, on the other hand, is still stinging by having their asses handed to them and whose hands are now tied because the cease-fire effectively grounded its advantage over Hezbollah - its air force.

I'd say you might be onto something (re: Israeli special ops chucking rockets).

4. 155 is the bloody sickle
that kills more people in war than a strike fighter based airforce.

They could turn on massive barrages from land and sea with very destructive results.

I am sure the IDF is capable of running ground operations similar to this used with air support. Roll forward with a wall of 155 destroying structure and people in front of it.

Time tested infantry tactic.

6. I think your absolutely correct.
Hezbollah only benefits by keeping quiet now. It would be foolish for them to start launching rockets.

3. Notice the wording on the FOX banner. " IDF said 10 rockets exploded"
the rockets "exploded" Did anyone say they were "launched?" Were they unexploded rockets? Were they rockets that the Israeli troops had confiscated as they "severely damaged Hizbollah infrastructure?"

5. This is your problem, buddy
The rest of us will keep hoping that the ceasefire continues to hold and the relative peace prevails.

But the cease-fire has disrupted the Bush plans for war with Iran (not to mention Hezbollah's fierce resistance and Lebanese public opinion rallying around Nasrallah)

7. I wouldn't put it past them
They have special units... the Sayeret Matkal is known for doing all kinds of sneaky things. Surely they confiscated at least a few rockets during the invasion, and its no secret that the IDF is unhappy with the progress of the war. Solution? Easy, just launch a few rockets towards israel and they are back in business!

8. Isn't it possible that..
the rockets are being fired by Hezbollah troops who are not aware a ceasefire was declared or who do not care?

10. Possible but ..
even Larry Johnson (ret CIA) said on the Ed Schultz Show today that Hezbollah showed that they were more than a ragtag defense force. That they showed remarkable command and control by their adherence to the cease-fire when it went into effect at 8am.

11. It has nothing to do with being ragtag or not..
it has to do with units in the field cut off from communications with their HQ. It's equally possible that some of the units have decided that the ceasefire is illegitimate or that they choose to ignore it.

12. Could it be Hezbollah shooting rockets at Israeli troops in Lebanon?
Hezbollah said it would fight the Israelis until they left Lebanese soil. So far, Hezbollah has pretty much done what it said it was going to do.

14. bush may be discredited
but i don't see that as a reason to start crediting hezbollah.

they have rockets, they've been firing them by the hundreds, and it is plausable that they, or one 'rogue element' (every military has them!) decided to fire off his cache rather than give them up.

why can't all parties involved in this clusterfuck be bad actors?
