Conyers: Polling Numbers Continue to Reflect 1994 Conditions
The Washington Post published a poll today that bore striking similarities to polling data in 1994 that presaged the Republican takeover of the House. In findings that former Reagan campaign director Ed Rollins called "dramatic," the Post pointed to a 55% approval rating of respondents' local Member of Congress. That figure has dropped by 7% over the summer to the lowest level since 1994. The generic poll has Democrats maintaining a 13 point lead at 52 to 39.

OK. So these are only numbers. What we need to keep in mind is that voter turnout is going to make the difference in November. We need to get as many people to the polls as possible and I will be asking for your help soon in this effort.
