4. Colbert can be totally bizarre in his interviews; this was no exception.
I laughed and laughed as Colbert successfully yanked her chain until I thought her head would pop off.

His "French vanilla" comment was a poison dart.

9. She didn't take his bait - she was playing along with him.
I met her/had lunch with her during the Carter years. Too bad she lives in D.C. - she would have been a great U.S. Senator or more.
