There is a video of yesterday's 'performance'. I can't find a working link at the moment but it's a must see and hear. Even the piano was a disaster covered in fingerprints and probably out of tune, though it just could have been her playing.

That's my guess. That said, she's pretty good at sight-reading, but if you listen to the video you'll find she puts no emotion into her playing at all -- it's like a chore for her rather than artistic expression. Well... I guess that's a good thing... she is Secretary of State, after all...

Condi should do a "dueling pianos" duet with Israel's Sec. of State to iron out this whole let's-not-be-too-hasty-to-stop-the-war-criminal-slaughter-of innocent-children scenario that is obviously going to be the magic solution to all this ME carnage. I think of her cousin, Constance (civil rights attorney), and see the difference in attitude written all over their faces. Condoleeza's face is twisted with the evil that lives in her soul and Constance's face has the beauty and light of someone who really cares.
