Hilarious video with Fred Phelps. And I mean hilarious.
Watch this Aussie reporter make a pass at Fred and then watch ol' Fred run away and hide behind the wimmenfolk.

1. It is very funny! I saw it last night and comment on it.
That Phelps guy is probably still thinking about that incident. LOL!

2. Um, did Uncle Fred get a woodie?
I think he did. I think he ran behind those women to hide the pup tent.

That reporter's a better actor than anyone I know.

3. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out
that he really likes young boys... most homophobes are latent homosexuals (is that still a term?)

4. It's actually Fred Jr
But it's still funny. I find it funny that in a church where homosexuality is so villified, and "proper" gender roles are so revered that he felt he had to hide behind women.

I've never run of them off, but I made a couple of them think twice about crossing the street to come talk to me about my anti-Phelps signs I put up across from one of their protests. First I was bigger than either of the guys waiting for traffic to clear to come "chat" with me, and second I had just pulled out and lit my juggling torches right when they were stepping off the curb. They quickly did a 180 and went back to their signs. :)

5. THis should happen more often
Comedy and ridicule must really piss this crowd off. Anger and contempt sort of validates them, but being made fun of? Then they believe they are not being taken seriously and for freaks like these that is the most important thing in the world to them.

Don't argue with them. Make fun of them.

Michael Moore did a piece on his old show "The Awful Truth" where he followed this group around in a pink bus filled with really outrageous gay people. It was a scream and the Phelps crowd just didn't know what to make of it.
