TO HOLD PRESS BRIEFING, ENERGY PRESS CONFERENCE TOMORROW

Regular Pen and Pad Briefing to Be Held Tuesday, Followed by Press Conference to Announce Major Energy Bill


WASHINGTON - House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer will hold his regular pen and pad briefing tomorrow, Tuesday, July 25th, from 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. in his U.S. Capitol office (H-306). Hoyer will discuss the Republicans' failure to address issues important to the American people before leaving for the August recess, as well as Democrats' commitment to making America energy independent. Following pen and pad, Mr. Hoyer and leading Democrats will introduce a new energy bill (advisory with details to follow).

NO CAMERAS WILL BE ALLOWED.

Hoyer holds regular pen and pad briefings for reporters during weeks when the House is scheduled to be in session.
