Second round of flooding Upstate, New York (An inconvenient Truth?)
We're experiencing another bout of flash flooding here in Upstate New York for the second time in under a year. In all my 26 years, I never recall flooding of urban and surrounding areas to the extent I've witnessed recently. It's nothing like downstate Binghamton and Northeastern Pennsylvania, however I saw many motorists on the hoods of vehicles in areas which I've never seen flood out before during rainstorms.
I feel for those folks downstate after the last two weeks. This storm is the last thing they need during the cleanup process.
that second round of flooding in Upstate New York, right now.
The ol' timers here have never seen anything like it..according to the weather report it's suppose to clear up tomorrow and then be in the 90's for a few days with wind so that should dry it up once again.
