5. Because there is nothing else going on for tweety to be talking about.
We haven't invaded a country, we haven't tortured people, we having rolled back civil rights. Talking about Stephen Colbert's humor is far more pressing.

6. He better watch out
Colbert can skewer him without ever having him back again for a rematch. I see some of Keith Olbermann in Colbert. Don't get mad - get even with the cruel facts. Tweety is vulnerable.

with Colbert. He loves the attention and the idea of getting more of Steven's audience to pay attention to him - he needs that. He has been losing watchers in that demographic.

"> Update: 1:15pm: MSNBC says Chris Matthews and Tammy Haddad aren't fighting. But a tipster still says execs are worried about Hardballs "alarming drop in ratings." In the 25-54 demo, Hardball averaged 128,000 in April, 116,000 in May and 100,000 in June (5 and 7pm airings combined)..."

Tweety knows Colbert is satire.

18. He Called Colbert's Performance BAD @ WHC Dinner
Stephen should nip this one in the bud or is it "spuds"! Don't allow Matthews to feed off the popularity of Colbert.

19. It is a satire feud with Matthews desperately trying to
rake in more viewers.

He may be a jerk at times, but he's not stupid.

15. Because CNN, MSGOP, FOX isn't news. It's "infotainment"
It's devolved into shameless ratings whoring and pandering to the least common denominator.

Sad actually.

16. Tweety Bragging About His Appearance
with the almighty, truth to power God - Stephen Colbert, hoping he'll get a boost in his ratings, like Colbert did from the White Correspondence dinner - What did Tweety say after that dinner about Colbert's performance? It was BAD!!!

On his show Hardball on MSNBC, Chris Matthews called the performance 'bad.' However, the video of Colbert's speech became an overnight internet sensation<14> and ratings for The Colbert Report soared 37% in the week following the speech.<15> After four days of near silence, the press began to recognize Colbert's speech with mixed reactions. Some thought that the speech went "over the line." Others, like Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen, found it unfunny, while others still thought that Colbert delivered a magnificent performance akin to Harry Taylor's criticism of Bush. Despite the media response, Colbert's speech continued to gain popularity, ultimately becoming the #1 download on iTunes.<16>
