1. I like Schweitzer!
"I have a 72-hour rule. If I stay in Washington for more than 72 hours, I have to bathe myself in the same stuff I use when one of my dogs gets into a fight with a skunk -- stuff to get the smell out."

-- Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer

2. Schweitzer talks in a way that progressives, moderates and even some
less nutty conservatives can easily understand and relate to.

3. He also knows how to get GOPs to vote for him
His message is economic populism delivered in a no-nonsense, common sense voice and without corporate jargon.

If Democrats want to get elected, that's who they need to study, at the very least.

5. That's what I'd like
Two environmentalists. Of course, whenever I mention him I have to explain that he's the governor of Montana.
