Memo to my Assemblymen: redraw the map now.

With the Supreme Court upholding Tom Delay's sneaky power grab today, it's time for the Democrats to come out swinging. It's time to use their own tools against them.

We have to use every state where we hold an advantage in the legislature to try to tilt the balance back in our favor. We lost seats in Texas over this, and will be losing seats in Pennsylvania as soon as the Republicans there can act. So we have to turn around and take out every Republican seat in California, New York, New Jersey, and wherever else we have an advantage.

So, Assemblymen Van Drew and Albano, it's time to act. Get the legislature together. Redraw now. Redraw people like Scott Garrett and Frank LoBiondo out of existence. Redraw the map now. New Jersey is a blue state now, and we deserve to have that better reflected in our Congressional delegation.

shove the results of their actions back at the GOP. The SCOTUS has now gone on record, it's time to make lemonade out of this lemon we've been handed.
