The investigation should have nothing to do with Viagra.
It should be an investigation of who Rush Limbaugh was having sex with in the Dominican Republic. Because I'll bet you $1,000 it was with prostitutes. And I also bet it can be proven.

3. ...with a private jet too !
No, I don't think it should be about Viagra either. Even when friends borrow from friends, you put the damn things in a hefty snack bag, what an idiot.

5. IMHO, it should be about violating his probation
there were other drugs found in his possession besides viagra. The prostitute thingy is his own private beeswax. However, if someone should spill the beans on the No. 1 Clenis detractor of all times, that would just be icing on the cake. :-)

Limbaugh is an uber-drug warrior who was the beneficiary of a deal that would have sent him howling about the culture of liberal moral relativism and victimhood had it been given to anybody else but himself, particularly a poor minority.

6. Turn about is fair play,
he shouldn't be allowed any more privacy on this than he afforded Clinton.

8. I agree completely
I would hope that the prostitution angle be revealed but I'd hope the legal angle of violating his probation be the focus. Prior to Bill Clinton's presidency, the private lives of presidents were respected. See: GHWB and Jennifer Fitzgerald et al.

However, the focus upon the personal lives of political figures obscures the integrity of the debate based solely on their grasp and advocacy of the issues. Whether someone has personal demons/skeletons is secondary to the service they do to the country. Republicans howl when their dirty laundry is aired, but without airing Dem laundry, they have no moral or ethical high ground upon which to stand. Ann Coulter herself complained about the "doctrine of infallibility" that enables the 9/11 wives to be so effective. Repukes attack the messenger because they can't refute the message, now that their tactic has been turned to their disadvantage, they howl in outrage, yet they attack the messenger anyway.

Limbaugh can be effectively dismissed as a moral arbiter via his law-breaking without delving into his personal (eewwwwwww) pecadillos.

7. That and possession of an illegally prescribed substance...
...and leaving the country while on probation.

I don't really care if he uses Viagra but why was it prescribed in someone else's name? And, from what I'm hearing, most people on probation are not allowed to leave the country. That should be especially true, when the probation is for a substance abuse crime and the destination is a place where all kinds of drugs are readily available, without a prescription.

Plus, like you, I want to know if he's participating in sex tourism because, if he is, he should be prosecuted, if that's possible. But, certainly, he should be "excommunicated," by the right wing.

11. How did he get out of the country without a passport?
Don't you need one to leave and return to the country?

I am assuming they took his passport until he was cleared.
