Guy Hugging the President
I figure people have already talked about this story, but I just read the full story recently. I had heard about the Merchant Marine graduate who had hugged the President, but I was not interested in the story. Last night while looking at the stories at Huffington Post I saw a story on the guy. Then I read the story about the guy in the New York Times. This kid does not seem to be to bright. He barely made it through the school. I am wondering why they allowed the kid to stay. Could it be that Bush helped the kid stay in the school and that is why the kid told Bush thank you? I am not trying to start in controversy here, but I am just wondering what the guy meant when he said thank you.

Maybe Bush was his hero in that Bush was a very poor student, but some how found a way to achieve greatness(yes I know many think/believe that Bush's father bought his greatness; however' maybe this guy is one of those who thinks/believes Bush achieved his own greatness). Do you know that that is this guy plan for the future; to achieve greatness? Yes, I still wonder why the Merchant Marine Academy allowed to guy to graduate.

I have never gone to a military academy so maybe I am wrong about this guys struggles. Maybe his 4,876 demerits is not that big of a deal. Maybe the other stuff like going before the Admiral and going before the merit board twice is normal. I do happen to know the six years to graduate is not normal.

6. Read My Quote
I wrote that "maybe this guy is one of those who thinks/believes Bush achieved his own greatness". I was talking about what the guy may have been thinking.

The kind of greatness Al Capone achieved...

7. The Kid
It is more about the kid's belief that Bush is great. My point was not maybe this kid told Bush thank you in that he believed Bush achieved greatness. Greatness is equal to being President.
