Is Nixon to blame for "cutting and running" in Vietnam? Shouldn't we have
stayed and "finished the job?"

1. Johnson should have cut and run. It's the only moral thing to do in
an illegal war.

3. War hawks STILL blame him for that
and they put most of the blame on antiwar demonstrators for "forcing" Nixon to "cut and run." Never mind Nixon's secret plan to end the war turned out to be prolonging it as much as he could.

Some people are not only born stupid, they work hard all their lives to keep it that way.

7. Maybe our Dems could use this for "Talking Points" but then it would
bring back the ugly reminder of Vietnam. Still it would be worth it to see them sling back in the Repugs Face that they learned their lessons by dragging us into "unwinnable wars." The American People need to be reminded of this. Repugs are not strong on defense. Repugs just allowed themselves to be pushed into another "unwinnable war" by Neo-Con thugs who started out as "Liberals" (or so the Neo-Cons spin goes about themselves).

There are lots of ways we Dems could hit back at the Repugs if we used some "common sense and cleverness of spin." We should forget this "Mommy Party/Daddy Party" crap.
