Homeland Security: Florida the only state that passes all tests
A Homeland Security report issued Friday states that only one state passes all it's mandates for disaster planning...Florida.

Nine other states have an "acceptable plan." Those 9 states are: Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Vermont.

No state west of the Mississippi river (except Texas) recieved a passing grade.

The report stated also that New Orleans is still "woefully unprepared for another disaster." Even though the 2006 hurricane season started on June 1st, city and state officials have still not put together an acceptable evacuation plan in the event of another major hurricane.

1. Plan A: Stop sending trucks full of ice to MAINE (and generally driving
around New England, when the ice is most helpful/needed in the 'Southern States' (ya'll heard your Southern (red state) Senators complaining about this, right????)

and B: Shoot on site people that are taking to their advantage of a "bad situation"....and 'show no mercy'. See THIS:

he witnessed 45 tons of the New York loot being unloaded in Minnesota at his company's headquarters. He and disaster specialist Chris Christopherson complained to a company executive, but were ordered to keep quiet. They persisted, going instead to the FBI. The two whistleblowers eventually lost their jobs, received death threats and were blackballed in the disaster relief industry. But they remained convinced their sacrifice was worth seeing justice done. They were wrong.

As a result, most Americans were kept in the dark about a major fraud involving their donated goods even as new requests for charity emerged with disasters like Hurricane Katrina. And Christopherson and L'Allier were left disillusioned. "I wouldn't open my mouth again for all the tea in China," L'Allier said. Added Christopherson, a 34-year-old father of two: "I paid a big price."

Okay, all of us/you Amerikans....Is this behavior 'alright' with you? If it's not, what are we/you gonna 'DO' about it?????

Are we men/women or are we mice?
