Political Cartoon Supporting Coulter
http://cagle.msnbc.com/politicalcartoons/

A while back somebody posted a link to this site that has a few political cartoons on it. I read it pretty much every day just to get a taste of a few cartoons out there. Today's selection features Bush apologist Mike Lester's support for Ann Coulter's recent statements about the 911 wives (second cartoon down). I am usually not surprised by his cartoons because he is a typical Bush apologist, but today I had enough and I thought I should write him a little note to share my disgust.

2. It's bullshit. It's not about debate.

Dumb cartoon for dumb people. Ann Coulter does not debate. She calls names.

3. When you run out of ideas you spend your time defending the indefensible.
Has he cartooned in support of Lindsay England by any chance?

5. It's not just the repellent sentiments of that cartoonist
it's the fact that he's a piss poor artist.

Why on earth Cagle would feel compelled to include him is beyond me, unless he's been stung by criticism that all the GOOD political cartoonists are anti Bush.

Don't they just hate it when the FACTS turn out to be LIBERAL.

7. Interesting...
Mike Lester is a butthead. But it's interesting to look at Republican 'humor'; it shows that they actually seem to be trying to miss the point and usually have to focus down from the forest to an item the size of single leaf to find something that supports their way of thinking. Pathetic. However, that they also have to resort to smearing reasonable and honest people who deserve praise rather than insults is almost unforgivable (sure, Democratic cartoons smear Republicans--but our points are generally honest, fair and accurate and rarely character smears--if anything, we're usually too kind). Alas, it's to be expected.
