Some questions about Osama's mountain fortress

How did they build this?

Where did they put all the excess dirt and rock?

It should be easy to find Osama's cave, just look for the man made mountain next to the natural one with all of the caves.

The 'liberal' media and the Bush Administration thinks everyone is dumb.

I'm not doubting that Osama lives in a cave, but really, this?

The Osama Cave looks so big and fancy that they may as well put it in an episode of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous".

1. Saddam's Mythical Fortresses
Edited on Sun Jun-11-06 04:30 PM by tabatha
I remember reading about the same type of "fortifications" that Saddam was supposed to have had.
Some fortress is turned out to be - a hole in the ground.
I believe OBL's is the same - fiction.

2. According to Rumsfeld they had several of those
I can't answer your questions though, because nobody has ever been able to find them. It's like al-Shambala...

4. That looks like an awfully big, complicated, and well ventilated thing
To be unable to find.

12. Maybe they know it exists
because they helped build it during the creation and funding of bin Laden's operation during the Russian attempt on Afghanistan in the '80s?

5. "Caves are cut deep inside mountain to avoid the possibility
of detection by thermal imaging"

And there's a cooling unit at the end of each one of those exhaust ducts, right?

6. Missing the obvious.
It's really obvious how they built the fortress. They had one of those crystal-dildo things that Superman used to build his Fortress of Solitude in the Arctic. You just throw the crystal at any likely patch of ground and, a few special effects later, presto! One M1-A1 regulation Evil Genius Cave Complex.

Anyone who reads comic books knows this stuff. Sheesh!

7. There were some good times there back when Ernst Blofeld used that lair!
They used to put on a *fabulous* Christmas pagaent on the lower concourse near the Orange Julius and Florsheim's of Tora Bora. It was really something, back before Blofeld sold the place to bin Laden.

11. Why would you assume that OBL lives in a cave? (or that he's alive at all)
'Cause rumdum says he does?

Just before 911 obl was in Dubai for treatment for his kidney disease. That is where I assume he returned for further treatment. Could I be wrong--you bet. But anything that this malAdministration repeats hundreds of times I tend to believe that something very different is closer to the truth. :D

Of course, this points out that rummy's sci-fi production doesn't include a modern hospital that can attend to obl's advanced medical needs.

13. I like the hydro station inside the complex
And the rows of stinger missiles are a good touch too.

It looks like they used the NORAD mountain HQ plans as a propaganda template. I am surprised they didn't show some ICBMs in there.

UBL's extensive and fantastically unbelievable cave complex exists. So do Saddam's WMDs. Don't worry about the proof. It's there. Trust us. Don't ask any questions. Shut up. Believe what you're told. Why do you hate your country? They're evil. We're good. We know exactly where it is. We also know where you are. It's real. Everything we say is true. Be quiet.
