The House/Senate joint Committee is discussing the Supplemental Spending bill (Iraq, Afghanistan and Hurricane Relief funding).

He has gotten agreement to a committee vote on this addition to the Supplemental - "No funds will be made available for basing rights agreements in Iraq."

While it's sure to lose, it was good to see him force a full committee vote.

(on edit) It's on CSPAN.

3. Good for him. If the Dems take back the House, he chairs Appropriations.
