Has anyone seen the "American Who Tell the Truth" Portraits?
I just discovered this excellent project:

http://americanswhotellthetruth.org/

There's many dozens of portraits of many different thinkers and activists -- beautifully painted and placed with their quotations.

I might have to invest in a few of these.

1. one of them

"George, your reckless and wanton foreign policies killed my son, Spc. Casey Austin Sheehan, in the illegal and unjust war on Iraq. Helping to bring about your political downfall will be the most noble accomplishment of my life, and it will bring justice for my son and the hundreds of other brave Americans and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis your lies have killed."

4. That is so cool , I started reading their biographies
to find out more about them. I hadn't heard of Diane Wilson so I looked her up and found out that she is still in jail for protesting Cheney at a Delay fundraising event. She got on the list by donating $50.00! It is shocking. THE should be in jail. I couldn't believe how many of those people had been jailed as I glanced through their bios. In America, you get jailed for telling the truth.
http://www.codepink4peace.org/article.php?list=type&type=98 this is about Diane Wilson, you can write her in prison.

5. OMG. First that I heard of it.
THIS should be news because it will only get worse if Alito is confirmed.

The FIRST election in which I was eligible to vote, I felt so proud to vote for Shirley Chisholm in the presidential primary.
