Rice warns Iran it doesn't have much time
The United States warned Iran it will not have much time to respond once it is offered an international package of rewards to encourage it to suspend uranium enrichment, suggesting that the window could soon close and be replaced by penalties.

"It really needs to be within weeks," U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told NBC's "Today" show, referring to the six-power package of perks or penalties aimed at halting Iran's enrichment activities.

In separate comments on National Public Radio, Rice suggested she was ready to meet her Iranian counterpart, Manouchehr Mottaki, if Tehran agreed to suspend the activity that can be used to make nuclear arms and negotiate the details of the deal.

The package agreed on Thursday carries the threat of U.N. sanctions if Tehran remains defiant over what the West calls a rogue nuclear program that could produce a bomb. The United States, in a major policy shift, conditionally agreed this week to join those talks. It would be the first major public negotiations between the two countries in more than 25 years.

cont'd...

U.S.: Bush Says Iraq Running Out Of Time, While Inspectors Say They Need More
Washington, 15 January 2003 (RFE/RL) -- Even as U.S. President George W. Bush says Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is running out of time, his administration is stressing that a U.S.-led war against Iraq is not necessarily imminent.

U.S.: Bush Says UN, Like Iraq, Running Out Of Time
Washington, 7 March 2003 (RFE/RL) -- U.S. President George W. Bush says the United Nations, like Iraq, is running out of time. Bush told an internationally televised news conference from Washington last night that the UN Security Council must recognize that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is flouting the will of the international community. If not, Bush said, the United States and select allies are prepared to go to war without them.

4. Beware the 6th of June, Orlando/Lauderdale.
Beware the 7th of June, Tehran.

The PNAC has all these frayed issues worked out and settled. Everything is ready to go for the 7th. No need to worry your beautiful minds. Maybe lay in a supply of drinking water and tack up some lead shielding, until the fall-out drops off.

You just know that those devil Muslims will use 6/6/06 to destroy Disney World, that faggoty place in Florida. Then Jeb can climb up with a bull horn on the rubble and declare that, "This won't stand." And W can fly his forty nukes into Iran the next day. Then oil can be $200/barrel and Jeb can do a 9/11 ride into 2008, and Mary Cheney can get more inheritance.

How convenient that Homeland funds have just now been spread to the provinces and Condoleezza has offered the olive twig, (with thorn), to Iran. Proof that they did their level damnedest to make nice with Tehran and were simply forced to nuke them forty times to Hell.

I suspect that with the world in nuclear chaos the 2006 elections will have to be postponed until Jeb takes over by default in 2009.

And in appreciation for his years of service the grateful nation will honor VP Cheney with a lifetime hunting license in the Hallowed Halls of Congress.

I mean you don't introduce a new product in summer. So presumably they have till September before we really ramp up the war talk.
