bumperstickers on my car. i learned how to do pictures, yeehaw

my bumperstickers on my car. i have had them on since election. i live in very red panhandle of texas. after having a kerry sticker on the car, and no one bothering me i decided to go for it. i had more people give me the thumbs up. i have had a blast with my stickers. i love to watch the people read them, and especially like when i see kids reading htem, then talking to their parents.

just saying

I sometimes see when going to work in the AM, neighborhood of 26th St and I-27, with the sticker "The road to Hell is paved with Reupblicans."

There are progressives in Texas. I may end up living there one day, & the thought hasn't made me happy. I keep thinking there will be conservative fundies who love country music everywhere. Maybe it won't be as bad as I think.

23. There are great progressive folks in Austin and San Antonio.
I know three fabulous fun-loving professional women over 50 who say it is nearly impossible to meet together, liberal, interesting men there. Where are they all?

Single men, now, are a little different. I am single, but strike out on "together"... two out of three?

I talked to a bookstore manager at Borders, and he said they sold more anti - W. books here in San Antonio, than anywhere in Texas !!
Why did Kerry only get 44 % of the vote in '04 ?
You know why.
Nothing will change until we get rid of the machines.
My bumper sticker says "Support Our Troops - Bring Them Home"
I get LOTS of thumbs up from people here.

26. Nice!
Bravo, SeaBeyond! :yourock:

That must take some courage in the Red area of your state....I've got just a couple of stickers on my Subaru up here in liberal Massachusetts...but I do the magnetic ones and I like to change them up every now and then. Speaking of which, here is my favorite website for them: http://www.carryabigsticker.com/

It is nice to drive up to New Hampshire or Maine....sometimes I do get looks.

But I'm still flipping off drivers with Bush/Cheney stickers on their cars, so I suppose turnabout is fair play.

It's still a year away, but we're planning on driving down the coast to Disney next April...gotta get a new round of stickers before that trip, for sure!

43. Congrats!!!
nice job! I just had a very Mr. South Repub come up me 2 days ago at the dog/car wash,
"Uh, Ma-yam"
I was brushing my dog...."Yes?"
he pointed at my Kerry/Edwards sticker "I like your sticker!"
I sighed, " I know. I can not stand Bush"
he: "he is so embarrassing."
me: "he sure is."
he nodded and turned away.
that was it. short. simple.
