I find your field fascinating! I had a friend that worked for NASA and lived in Egypt. He managed access to parts of the pyramid most never see. The footage was amazing.

Just look under Distressed American or "White House" in the Google Image warehouse (I just use the place model command in SketchUp).

We should compare notes on our GIS work. I have been doing great stuff with my maps lately. I guess I did send you that link for some of my stuff. I have a ton more. Fun.

Yeah, I have Google Earth. It's fun, but it ain't GIS. ;)

I've been training for the past few month with ESRI's ArcView 9.1. I also took a course through NASA on GIScience - VERY cool stuff! I am taking Remote Sensing next semester. :bounce:

At home, since I use UNIX, I have been fooling around with GRASS and other open-source software.

27. You Should Be Able To Dowload The Files To Google Earth

SketchUp Just being a plugin and all. You loose all of the color though as Earth only displays monochrome.

Still running Arcview 8.3. But, I hear I can now bget a very cheap student version through my school of the newer version. Think I may upgrade soon.
