Senate Confirms Hayden As CIA Director
This news will make the coming Memorial Day all the more meaningful as we can now add the Constitutional principles of privacy, and the Fourth Amendment to the long list of causalities in Bu$h's war on terrorism.

I'm more disappointed than ever in democrats like Carl Levin and Diane Feinstein for voting to send him off for confirmation.

who are the 15 voters that dissented... gives me a good idea of which democrats in the senate I can still trust..

That's how liberty is ultimately lost.

5. I agree
and I also am starting to think that our so called leaders of the so called opposition party are very comfortable and content to be the minority party while aiding and abetting the criminal cabal in the White House. Sad day indeed!

6. We have to face the fact that our congress persons are ENABLERS.
They are enabling Bush to destroy America.

I feel we are sunk and it is not a good feeling.

Take a good look at what the Senate passed on immigration. It will add at least 60 million citizens, mostly low-income that won't contribute much in the way of taxes but will drain our social security, medicare, and health care system. This is very serious and will likely end social programs and social security even faster than originally predicted. They also passed giving credit for the time worked on stolen social security numbers to the illegal thieves - that is insane.
