Seems the majority of AOL subscribers agree with Maryland legislature.

2. It needs to be enacted by other states to keep walmart from moving jobs
BTW: If all the wealthy states (Mostly Blue States) enact the health care bill then walmart will have very few options but to comply.
Maybe this is the first step toward universal health care?

My thoughts exactly. We aren't getting it because the people want it, we do want it and are not getting it. So, we must force the corporations to want it. As soon as enough companies want it, we will have it.

Personally I don't know why corporations aren't screaming for a national health plan. I see all pluses for them, except for increased competition from smaller businesses.

Maybe then Wal-Mart will move their stores to China and India. Sell their own crap back to them.

4. No brainer
when you think about it. The way WalMart works now, everyone in the state pays for its worker's health care via Medicaid, even those who never set foot in their stores. And I'm wondering how many people who really need Medicaid have been denied because WalMart employees have been forced to go on the rolls?
