hell done froze: nola newspaper endorses the democrat
in the new orleans mayor's race between nagin (the GOP cable executive incumbent who ran on a platform to run new orleans like a business, and the business was enron) and landrieu (the real lifelong democrat, not one who changed his party because he was running for office in orleans)

it's a smirking, grudging rather pathetic endorsement but it still knocked my socks off

i guess even they have tired of the embarrassment that is ray nagin


now if they would tire of their bush worshipping

the only "positive" remaining they suggest for nagin is ability to "reach out" to caligula 2! yikes!
