I saw Randi and Big Eddie on the Larry King Show. My post may irritate sum
I was watching it on CNN International (in Asia we get each show a day late).

I must admit that I thought both Randi Rhodes and Eddie Schultz totally rocked. Randi brought her trademark emotional-fact based arguments to the show, while Eddie brought a much more even keeled approach. Granted, I only caught the last half, but I thought they were perfect.

I have heard that Eddie and Randi do not get a long. But, I think they are perfect together.

I put the 'My post may irritate' because I know there are some at DU, mostly Mike Malloy fans, who hate Eddie and question his commitment to the cause. But, if you have any doubt, I suggest you watch the show (if you can) because I think he did great.

2. Thanks much
I appreciate the link.
Now, I can find out what others who saw the show thought. Especially since I missed the first half.

4. I finally turned it off...
I like Randi, but I do not appreciate her constant yelling the same thing, over and over again. So much could have been accomplished if she had allowed others to speak and taken her turn. These yelling matches don't accomplish a thing, other than aggravate. No matter what the subject, I have to turn them off...they raise my blood pressure.

Ed was composed, but could barely get a word in edgewise. As for the other two, forget it. They were so busy drinking Kool-Aid....

5. Wow. These are emotional times. At times I am yelling and crying.

While on the DU. I have never heard Randi's show but I found her so well read and informed. And sure she gets loud. But it is always linked to some lying bullshit. So - it is in fact real.

Unlike the emotional bullshit that comes out of the GOP (anti gay this, anti-thinking this) her emotions come from a real place. Unlike the pursed lipped hatred of gays that comes to people who don't know any gay people and are in fact not in any way affected by Cathy and Abigail getting married.

How refreshing to have such an authentic person on the TV!

true thinking feeling sensing thoughtful empathetic & responsible adult. What a breath of fresh air. Cause really from my pov in Canada - their is so much crap coming out of the USA. And being opinionated & loud is her job.
