5 years ago,it would have been in the naure of training,security and peace of mind.all mr. bush has done is weaken a country by sending troops to iraq,you fight the wars you have to,not the ones you want to,we have to prevent people from coming into the country in the north and south to prevent terrorist attacks.by going to war in iraq mr. bush has demostrated that an insurgency can handle our fire power,while we weaken ourselves by the loss of personnel and equipment as well as funds, china,russia,north korea,pakistan(not an ally),syria et.al get stronger.mr.bush by shirking his duty in vietnam has no idea how to defend a country,while i`m at it mr. rumsfelds arrogance and hubris has cost the lives of 2400 plus,18,000 wounded and 100,000 civilians killed this will really help us win friends.whats really important is that mr. bush has neglected the problems internally that make us weak,he has divided this country pitting americans against each,there are enough enemies in the world to worry about then having americans pitted against each other.he wasted his political capital and has bankrupt this country.sad,very sad.peace
