A Few Photos Before Bed That Need to Be Seen. And Passed Around....
There are no words for the sorrow I feel for these people. Mothers, Fathers, babies.....

Freshly displaced Darfuris await the arrival of the UN relief coordinator Jan Egeland in the rebel held town of Gereida in southern Darfur, 07 May 2006. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged the Security Council to bolster beleaguered African Union (AU) troops in Darfur and appealed for world support to end the humanitarian crisis in Sudan's strife-torn region.(AFP/File/Jonah Fisher)

Diplaced Sudanese people hold up banners at Kalma Camp, 08 May 2006, where thousands demonstrated demanding international protection before violence led to UN envoy Jan Egeland leaving the camp early and a translator being killed. After three deadlines for a deal passed, the biggest of three Darfur rebel factions and the Sudanese government signed a peace agreement on Friday but two other rebel factions rejected the deal, casting doubt on whether it would be workable. 2. These pictures are heart breaking, but at least the U.N. is trying.
Check out the ninth ward in NOLA. It looks the same way it did a week after the dam broke. Not only is Bush & Co. not trying. They just don't give a flying fuck. After all, it's not part of their "base."

And as far as Bush paying attention to Darfur, he probably thinks it's some small town in India that looks like a good source for cheap labor.
