Is it just me.... or if you forget something you felt
was important enough to put on a resume, then you are either

a. not telling the truth (then or now) about something
or
b. to fucking stupid to even be considered for a job like SCOTUS.

maybe it is just me.

4. I don't understand his record keeping
I'm hardly the most organized person in the world - I've been known to shove shopping bags of important papers in my closet.

However, I have a file of my resumes from various stages of my life, as well as having a folder of my government employment papers. When I fill out a new batch of employment applications (like, for instance, those occasions when I'm applying for a new job or going for a confirmation hearing to become a supreme court judge), I drag out the old files so I can get all the dates of previous jobs, volunteer positions, memberships in various organizations, etc.

I cannot believe I am more organized than scalito. My God, I've got three baskets of unsorted laundry on my bedroom floor, and some of my work projects are crumpled on papers wadded up in my jeans pockets. If that guy can't get his act together enough to meet even my pathetic standards, this is a serious problem.

9. I agree. Why does not someone mention this?
Seems like an obvious one to me. When I asked the local RW idiot at work, he was baffled and completely shut up about it.

5. If I recall, the same thing was true for Roberts.
He forgot that he belonged to the Federalist Society, as well. Maybe they hypnotize them to erase their memories?

7. I sense the same thing during the Thomas hearings
when he claimed to have never discussed Roe v. Wade with anybody, including law students or fellow attorneys.

I thought "never discussed one of the most important decisions of the Supreme Court during the 20th century" with ANYBODY?!?! That man is either lying or incompetent. Either way he shouldn't be allowed on the Supreme Court.

11. He seems to have forgotten being involved with
some group of people who were apparently trying to keep eating facilities segregated.

When he applied for a job with Reagan, it was on his resume... prominently.

Now, he "does not recall" being a member of that group.

the man is lying! that ed gillespie sitting right behind him has no gumption and told him to lie. alito who went along with it doesnt care either. do you suppose he suffers from the same sociopathy that bush suffers from? he certainly suffers from a severe degree of anger. his face is a poem written in anger.
