Is this 'Honeymoon Widow' from the cruise ship the female Scott Peterson? She just CREEPS me out! She and Scott could spawn the Anti-Christ! Anyone know anything about her?

2. It's just running in the background
I'm online and also cooking, will start a DVD soon. He's an idiot, but this woman just seems really really dead calm about what has happened to her life. Very Scott Peterson.

8. I happened to hear this little snippet about her -
I believe it was on Abrams's show - her dead husband's family doesn't want to have anything to do with her, and that she passed out the night he died and has no recollection of anything. :o

9. I thought that WAS FOX, CNN, MSNBC, etc...
Seems like all they do are "local" news stories any more...

13. Watch Olbermann
I don't watch anyone else. He alone is singularly uninterested in missing white girls and male honeymooners.

16. well there's also Lou Dobbs...
His downside: He's obsessed with the idea that someplace in America there might be "an illegal alien" cutting grass somewhere...

His upside: He really takes it to the corporate crooks and gov't weasels.

4. FAKE NEWS ALERT...
Edited on Fri Dec-30-05 10:36 PM by ddeclue
One guy falls overboard out of how many million that take a cruise every year and it's a national crisis? Ever been on a cruise? They want you to get all liquored up so that you will buy and gamble more. Is it any great surprise that sooner or later someone is gonna get drunk (which is ok on a cruise ship so long as he's a passenger) and fall overboard?

Add this one to:
1) Missing blonde white women damsel in distress stories.
2) Random surfers being bitten by random sharks.
3) Lost Cessnas over Washington.
4) The airplane in distress story of the week.
5) Wife/Husband kills spouse in lover's triangle of the week.
6) Michael Jackson. stories
7) Robert Downey Jr. stories
8) Elizabeth Taylor stories
9) Celebrity divorces.
10) Celebrity marriages.

If anyone would like to add to the list of fake news be my guest...

It's all fake news designed to distract and confuse us so that we won't notice the real news (War in Iraq, dead soldiers, dead Iraqis, lying Presidents, "Presidents Gone Wild" with the law that is.., disappearing civil liberties, torturing prisoners, our gov't kidnapping people, astronomical deficits, oil crises, New Orleans in Gone With the Wind Episode II, The Sequel, drowned Gulf coasters, tax breaks for billionaires, gay prostitute "reporters" in the White House, leaking secret spy identities for revenge, hackable voting machines, Osama at large, stealing other people's oil for fun and profit, UN ambassadors "gone wild", fake reasons for wars, the list of REAL news is endless..

In the Roman days they had "Bread and Circuses"... today we just get the Circus...

5. Cruises are floating tubs of excess...
More food than is really healthy and they booze ya up to the gills.

I have had friends come home from cruises who were literally ill from overeating...which is their own faults but they would tell me how they couldn't help themselves when there were buckets of king crab legs just heaped on the tables....

6. My parents took me and my brother on one last year...
It was a nice gesture and although the food and the drinks were nice, after a couple of days I really felt like I was trapped. I'm a private pilot who lives in Florida and if I wanted to go to the Bahamas I can rent a plane and be over there in less than an hour. I really desperately wanted to be back in Orlando working on the Kerry campaign but they had already bought the tickets and would have been crushed had I not gone so I ended up taking 4 days off from the campaign for this.

(I was a volunteer staffer and there was someone to cover for some of what I was doing but still I was very much torn about this "vacation"...)

7. You couldn't pay me to go on a free cruise.
I hate tour guides and tours, they're a hang up and time consuming and boring. Plus a few assholes that just love to piss on your day.

A cruise is just an eat, drink and fuck thing done on a boat, which one could do in a five star hotel.
