Bush in Napa Valley day 2 dial up warning

Today we had to stay on the dirt. It was a safety measure. Yesterday a kid was hit by a bicycle and badly injured.


Hundreds of cops. These are the regular guys.


These are the riot guys. They don't seem too worried.


This is the record-the-protesters guy. We all smiled and waved.

2. The cops were great

I and my friends spoke to several of them. They were firm about keeping us in areas, which were mostly for our safety. They did a great job. When they knew that Bush was going to be sneaking in the back way, both Friday night and Saturday morning, they stopped through traffic because they knew we would be dashing across the street to get 40 feet closer in hopes the bastard would see us.
