1. I made one myself a couple of years ago...
to hold all my knitting needles and crochet hooks, which are in roll-up cases, one made from old an towel, the other made from leftover canvas.

2. My grandmother started crocheting with plastic bread bags in
about 1970 as her eyesight deteriorated and she couldn't do the pineapple pattern thread crochet anymore. She made some toilet paper "hats" and throw rugs that she gave to my mom (her DIL) who laughed and threw them away........

I like the idea of crocheted tote bags from leftover bags (grocery bags are a bit flimsy but bread bags are GREAT).
