South Dakota Governor wants prayers
The Governor of S. Dakota, Mike Rounds, has declared a proclamation requesting prayer for a week.....seems like there has been little to no rain in S. Dakota.

Some of you may want to send a note to the dear Gov of S. Dakota reminding him of what he and the legislature did to the women of his state....he demanded that they carry to term the children of rapists and their male relatives.

I wrote to the Gov and told him that Mother Nature is pissed off....and until he and the legislature rescind this law, she ain't turning the faucet back on.

Maybe some of you would like to send a note to him:

I bet if he gets enough emails, he will start to think that there is something to Mother Nature after all.

(I don't like seeing a drought...I know people will suffer because of this. I should mention, however, that the S. Dakota primaries held in June resulted in four of the legislature who fought against this cruel treatment of women LOST to those that believe women are nothing more than incubators. So to be honest, I am not feeling too damn generous toward the voters of S. Dakota.)

And maybe Mother Nature is gonna teach them to respect her.

1. If he wants to be the lord over women's bodies/lives
let him be a very, very old style lord. Let him sacrifice himself for the rain.

2. I doubt that the dehydration of his state
Edited on Tue Aug-29-06 07:56 PM by bliss_eternal
will bring him any sense of remorse or self-reflection of what he has done. Fuck that guy. Can you believe his gall?...asking people to pray for his state after what he's done...? :grr:

Good idea posting his office info, though. I'm sure some will share some interesting comments with him, at least I hope so. I don't think I can do so appropriately. I know my message would border on the profane and the obsence, so I'll leave this to those that can form their ideas in a way to put the appropriate intent across. :P :hi:

7. I agree...
but I know my soul is beyond mad as hell and is bordering on angry and obscene. I don't need any reps. from the state of south dakota knocking on my door to file charges. LOL! If I can compose myself I'll send one, too. :)

5. I'm praying for the South Dakota Gov. and legislature right now
Please Lord, let them develop painful hemmorhoids, only to be faced with a pharmacist whose moral objections to meddling godbags won't allow her to dispense medication to alleviate their conditions.

9. Sorry Mikey, I'm too busy praying for the women of South Dakota
who are being hurt and oppressed by that absurd piece of legislation that prevents them from making their own healthcare decisions.
