Pot
What are the negative symptoms people feel when they were "stoned"?

Here's a few of mine:

- anxiety
- paranoia
- lethargy
- dry-mouth
- memory loss
- laziness
- loss of interests

What's yours?

1. I generally don't have any
unless I'm alone when I'm smoking (which happens rarely, but it does happen). If I'm alone, I get really paranoid, and I'm not a paranoid person. I was never like this when I was a younger pot smoker (I didn't start smoking until I was 17-18)--only now that I'm getting older (29 now).

I do get lazy, but I'm lazy by nature :)

Also, when I smoke pot, I get the craving to smoke cigarettes....

2. I Quit Smoking Cigs Over A Year Ago...
and everytime I have smoked, that craving comes back.

3. I smoke all the time
and basically loneliness is the worst by-product of being a stoner. I'm pretty introverted, and smoking makes it easier to be alone...
But, eventually, you wake up - sober. And the loneliness and pain are there waiting for you... then the anxiety, and depression.
Herb is great for masking the pain, but the pain remains after the high is gone.
I've been herb free for a couple weeks now, and the pain and the loneliness are almost impossible to deal with.

I hope you are holding up strong. Personally I am still struggling.... But I won't give up. I keep trying.

5. Hang In There
Have you ever been to a 12 step meeting?

I was never a "joiner" and am pretty introverted myself

and it was hard as hell to just go to the meetings at first because of those things, and having a tremendous amount of anxiety

12 step meetings helped me
