1. they arrested her because a check paying a parking ticket
hadn't cleared yet? This is how New York's finest expends their valuable resources? Guess it's safer than chasing someone dangerous. I'm sure the media will try to blow it up into something big, but right now it just sounds like something horribly embarrassing that could happen to anyone.

2. Well, dang.....
The Stewart Group came to a screaming halt, which is too bad, Jon is so discussion worthy as King of the Fake Journalists...ha! Plus I think he's opened alot of snarky doors for Keef.

Looks like it froze up over the "retard" discussion thread:shrug: You'd think Stewart fans wouldn't be so sensitive to the politically correct crapola.

Sidebar: I have a "developementally disabled", "mentally challenged", ok, ok, a retarded adult child. And I wasn't offended :)

As far as his wife's arrest, I agree gk, sounded like much ado about nothing, but only because who she's related too.

My question would be, why does she need to drive at all? It's NEW YAWK fer chrissakes. Even if she were going out to the 'burbs to visit family and friends, hubster can certainly foot the car service bill. Of course, I hate driving, so I'd naturally feel like this...heh.

when we lived in Northern Virginia, I usually used Metro when I was going over into DC proper. Much easier on the nerves. :D

on edit: heck, I used it a lot of the time on the Virginia side, too. I really miss Metro. Mass transit in Houston sucks!!
