Gav is so sweet.

He got a rose-shaped ring box and stuck it in a bouquet of roses. When I tried to put the roses in water, I noticed one was shorter and plucked it out. Then I realized it wasn't real. It was a box. He actually got down on one knee and proposed. He was darling and, yes, I started crying.

We celebrated with champagne. Apparently, the ring came today and he couldn't wait.

Now he's cooking me dinner. Gav's a gourmet, so I'd rather have his food than restaurant food anyday (steak with melted blue cheese, asparagus with hollendaise sauce and some other stuff).

Oh... the ring...



And it fits perfectly - it should. It will never leave my finger except to clean or if I have to stick my hands in something gooey.
