:hi: Been keeping busy. Today, one of the dogs found a new way to escape the backyard. She "escapes" and runs to the front door and barks until I let her in. We played that game four times today until I found her latest escape route.

Oh, it looks like I'm doing a fundraiser on October 5th from (tentatively) 1 to 4. I'm not sure for which Dem(s) yet but I'll find out this weekend. You'd be more than welcome to come.

That's the funny thing, the dogs don't run away, they just go to the front door and bark to be let back in. They did the same thing back home. They'd go out the back door (where we didn't have a fence) and want to be let in the front one. It's a game they made up which they are usually too tired to do when I take them for their morning walk. I slept in this morning and they didn't get a full one, so they were a little more rambunctious than usual.

As for the weather, it is responsible in a way. The squirrels are more active and so are the dogs. To the dogs' credit, the squirrels stole all the pears off the tree in the front yard but they haven't raided my garden.
