The joke's on McCain: Late-night comedians lay off Obama
A hilarious new study of late-night political jokes, due to be released later today, finds the network comedians clearly avoiding humor about Democratic candidate Barack Obama, while piling the jokes on President Bush and Sens. John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

The study by the Center for Media and Public Affairs finds that only cable's Comedy Central, whose primary comedians, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, more closely follow the day's headlines -- which have been dominated by Obama -- has slightly more jokes about the freshman Illinois senator.

2. It's not Obama's fault that the most politically abhorrent thing he's done is bowl a 30.

He simply hasn't done as much that's worthy of ridicule.

3. well, that changed tonight. Not directed at Obama, but Leno went over the line...
Hubby likes to watch Leno's monologue (I'm not defending him).
Since the rethug Leno cannot directly attack Pres. Obama, he's attacking those who tell the truth about the rethugs.
Tonight, in Leno's most infuriating 'joke' to date, he says:

Leno, the asshole:
"You'd hear that people are dreaming of having sex with Pres. Obama?

Yeah, and Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann said, 'What? You too?'"

Hubby came out of his chair, he was so angry. We changed channel immediately and I just wrote to NBC to tell 'em that 'Leno bias is maddening...we're sick of his anti-Democratic jokes....and this one crossed the line....that Olbermann is one of the few places we can get hard news on the television....and.....We are so GREATLY OFFENDED that we refused to watch Leno ever again. He can ESAD!'

Yeah, he can eat shit and die! I know no one here watches him but hubby has finally learned his lesson; he's had it too - finally!
