Thursday, 1/3/08: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang! :hi:

Today, I once again spent 30 minutes on the recumbant bike. Then I went into the weight room and used some of the upper body machines (chest press, shoulder press, lat pull-down, bicep curls, tricep curls, etc).

My knee is feeling much better. I'm hoping to be jogging on the track by Monday.

1. devastating workout today
Legs, and boy did I go heavy.

I had originally intended to do 20 minutes of HIIT afterwards on the bike but my legs were shaking from the hour long weight session, so I decided to give the them a rest, especially as I'm going skiing for a full day tommorow.

2. I burned another 300 calories today,
this time, all on the recumbent bike. It took me a little longer because I was on the phone with my daughter the whole time -- that sure made time fly! :)

3. Yes, with the 80 lb sandbag
Oy, my whole body hurts. 80 lbs of aquarium gravel is heavier than it sounds.

4. 80lb of aquarium gravel, that must weigh at least 120lbs!
