Friday, 6/24: I worked out today=--did you?
Hi guys,

I was determined to get a run in this morning, and I did. I did 2 miles on the high school track.

The rest of the day will be spent packing and moving (again) so I suspect there's more stretching and lifting and bending, etc.....

1. I did!
I did my aerobic strip tease video, lower body weights & yoga.
My butt muscles hurt, so I must of done good.
I had my weekly weigh in this morning & I lost 2 lbs this week. Yea!

2. I did...
two miles through the nature trails through the park...absolutely beautiful and cool.

I went through the zoo on the way back.

Said G'morning to my "pets"...the old Timberwolf in his compound; the Peregrin Falcon; The Red-Tailed Hawk; and the great Horned Owl.

Had to dodge the Canada Geese and their goslings and even a couple of snow geese.

I'm beginning to enjoy seeing them every morning

5. she's baaaack...
i've been off this Forum for a while; slacked off in the workouts a bit for a few weeks after my sprint triathlon. But about 2 weeks ago I picked another race to "tri" for, so I'm back in training.

Tonight was a 2.9 mile run with 1 other triathlete and a friend. :) I did some abs after that. Tomorrow the goal is to get up early to "riiide, Sally, ride!"

The race I *might* do is an Olympic Distance in September. That's a 1500 meter swim, 40K bike ride, 10K run. (in miles: 1,25,6.2) Plus it's in hills. Big hills. So needless to say I have a loooong way to go!

Way to be consistent, MissMillie & everyone else. :hi:

6. I didn't work out today but went to a Road Course this evening
to learn about driving a bicycle in traffic. Tonight was the classroom part and tomorrow is the actual riding part, including learning how to fix a flat, etc., and going on a 9-mile ride on city streets. Should be fun!
