1. Here's a few
Clarence Bass: www.cbass.com
Great writer, and a very nice guy. Check out the shape he's in at over 60!!!! He'll answer emails.

Dr. Squat: www.drsquat.com
A good source for lifting info, with a very helpful forum.

Drragondoor. www.dragondoor.com
Check out the Russian kettlebells - weights from 16 to 88 lbs that you use aerobically. Unbelievably intense workout, v. popular with martial arts types. A good forum there too.

Ironmind: www.ironmind.com
Workout equipment for weightlifting. Excellent quality, and they sell the Captains of Crush grippers, which are very tough - only 2 or 3 people have ever closed their #4 gripper. They also publish Milo, a serious great strength training journal.

12. Yes, and another decent exercise guide/directory here:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exercises.htm

Between that and the ExRx Exercise directory you are pretty much set.

7. Cool, I'm glad y'all like it.
:)

I never would have had enough confidence to go to the weight section in a gym until I started reading her page. I started doing her beginner 2-day split routine and did it for about 3 months. I have never felt so good...I had a lot more energy during the day and it was easier to wake up in the morning, etc.

Sad to say I fell off the gym wagon a few months ago...about the same time that I started smoking again. For shame! But now I'm ready to start exercising again and kick the smoking habit (hopefully for the last time). I'm glad I found this group. :)
