Two new Anime series worth checking out

Bleach: Kurosaki Ichigo is a normal 15-year-old student except he could see ghosts, but his fate changed a lot when he met Kuchiki Rukia, who named herself Death. She appeared in front of him following the ghost called Hollow. Hollow attached the spirit of Ichigo who had a strong spiritual power. Rukia came to help him, but because of the serious injury she couldn't fight the ghost. She made up her mind to share her power of Death to Ichigo. The battles of Ichigo, who happened to get the powers of Death, and Rukia, who had lost her power, has just begun. (taken from /www.animenfo.com)

Its not a bad series even if it is a well travelled theme. Dynamic characters and excellent animation raise it up to an interesting level.

Beck: Tanaka Yukio, whose nickname was Koyuki, was an ordinary student who didn't have special interests or specialties. One day, because he helped a strange dog named BECK, he got to know the dog's master.

He used to think of a pop star Kuniyoshi Chiemi who came from Okinawa as the best artist ever. However, the shocking meeting with a charismatic band group, Dying Bride, something in his life began to change. (taken from /www.animenfo.com)

This one looks special. It is a look at the next generation coming up in Japan meeting head first with western ideas of Rock and independence. Very interesting mix.
