A precious moment - captured - shared and appreciated.
I went to the sunset park and suddenly saw at the end of the pier a man who went on his one knee and held something up to the woman.

She nodded- they kissed - then they just stood there looking at each other. I called out to them I had it on camera, and as I slowly approached I wished them the very best and a long and happy life together.

Now I have their email, and will send them what I'm showing you.

I was the first to see the ring, and witnessed her asking him twice if he had hired me to record the moment on camera.
Let's all send them good vibes and best wishes.

1. Wow! Talk about being at the right place at the right time!
What an awesome thing to have happen for those two. Can you imagine the smiles on their faces when they show those pictures to their relatives? Congratulations to you for being there and taking some great shots!

Best wishes to the happy couple! :)

5. I thought it was so sweet, too. I always cry at weddings,
possibly because so many don't work out. But I never witnessed an engagement and it just made me happy. I have about 10 shots of them for posterity.

I wrote to them and said I hope they did not feel intruded upon. I just got back from them that they loved it, it added to the occasion, and they told "everyone" about it.
She is a wedding photographer.

7. Dear Peggy: I'm weird about some things. Taking a photo of the ring never occurred to me.
Until just now. It was a round, sparkly diamond. Maybe a half carat. Nice. She glowed. That's what mattered to me.

12. Guess what I have for you! ? A photo of the bride and her ring.
We met again - and are now friends for sure. I sent them all my photos, learned her profession is wedding photography, and she asked me to take some more of her and the fiance. I was very flattered. I asked to take this specific one for you, and she was thrilled to oblige.

16. Hi there, and thanks. The last of the story is that they wrote me a thank you card
when they left to fly home, put it on my door step along with some beautiful carnations, a photo printed out that my Mom had taken of the three of us together which now is on my photo board in my kitchen, and a promise to think of me as the third in their experience always.
Did YOU tell them carnations are my favorites?

I may have to go to their wedding (Atlanta).
:)

Have they been on tv or something? I swear they look familiar...especially the woman.

18. She is unusually photogenic, very pretty. Every photo of her
was a winner. She is a wedding photographer, I saw her website and the work looks wonderful to me. She looks better than any of the brides I saw there.
I got the impression they are folks just like us.
