You got balls
Decided to cycle over to Governors Island to have lunch, catch the  Mark di Suvero sculpture installation and to get ticked off at tourists who wander into bike lanes like lethargic cattle.

Also shot a few iPhone shots

Didn't set up this still life it just happened be there on the picnic table

Ok I admit this one is probably WAY over the top in filter land but I was trying out a new app and I like how the composition formed a natural triptych with the boat deck, the Lawrence Weiner sculpture and the Brooklyn waterfront.

2. Nice shots!
I especially like the first one. Crisp, clean, and interesting angle.

9. Thanks
I was glad I had a nice clear sky for a neutral background to the sculpture.

3. WOW - yes very WOW. The first one seems so off balance, and ungrounded
that I completely adore it. It makes me feel a bit dizzy.
The third one is just damn scary emotionally. It reminds me of movies I'm glad I saw though they still haunt me.

And the last one is a work of art I would expect in a gallery - or more so - a museum.

Well done!

7. The full sculpture
Is very grounded yet displays balance and tension, which is why I'm a Mark di Suvero fan I'm also a big fan of Richard Serra who's large scale metal sculptures totally command a space.

Thank you for your comment on the last one but the jury is still out on that app, I wish it would have allowed me a bit more control over the filters.
