So . . . go ahead and post your "PRETTY"
spring photos, see if I care!

Nothing too pretty here. Was out this morning and took some river photos.

Spring run-off is always a problem here, and the gates are wide open right now.

Needless to say, no rowing until the river subsides and slows down.

You can see the gates in the background - right side of photo

1. Why not
enter one of these and call it April Showers?? LOL

That is one powerful looking body of water!! Yikes! I am worried about our bridges here because of all the debris on the pilings.

The Wolf River here crested supposedly, but guess who is forecast to get seven more inches of rain before Monday morning? And we aren't even talking the Mississippi yet. I need to make the trek downtown, because that is supposed to be a sight to see.

I did get a practically unknown midday sighting of deer. They literally were swamped out of their usual habitat!

This kind of got me! Irrigation Equipment looks like it is for watering a lake!

2. Wow! The deer photo is striking, knowing
that they had to "skedaddle" from their habitat.

But . . . "irrigation" photo is quite disturbing.

Very strange weather patterns we have been experiencing. *big sigh*

4. I'm glad my grandsons don't live near that.
You may wonder what kind of idiot would think it's a good idea to take an inner tube down that roil of ravaging river, but I don't want to go into it. LOL

You sure captured the fury and rage of nature's most powerful force. I can almost hear it from looking at the photos. It doesn't look like there's much room for more water before it comes over the bank.

5. This scares me really badly. I'm so sorry.
I honestly think that photos beyond the customary subjects need to be encouraged. All these other things spell Spring as well.
