1. No. They didn't have mustards at the store so I had turnip greens
and corn bread. It was Potlikker. Turnip greens, mustards, or collard cooked with salt pork or fat back. Cook the shit out of them and serve with corn bread. The liquid is the star of the dish.

not be about the particular image, but the memories/feeling caused by the image. The field of mustards took me back to my rural youth.

2. This looks very very good to me. Beautiful lines & movement! Exquisite shot.
The color, here, would be the sheets of pollen I see in the spring.
Thank goodness I am not allergic.

3. Very pretty
but could I make a suggestion? The sky is blown out and there is actually some pretty nice color in the sky if you take the brightness down. You can always dodge the foreground to make it lighter.

7. Thanks, I'll try that
I had actually under exposed it a bit and simply upped the exposer in RAW without keeping an eye on the sky.

8. Lovely
We sure have been having some nice weather around here haven't we? Now if our summers could be so special and not filled with cold fog...

We went to Napa a couple of weeks ago and the mustard was just starting to bloom. Looks like it's in its full glory now.

10. Yes,it's pretty amazing
This patch is at ZD. The trees are starting to bloom. If the rain holds off a bit, we'll have lots of pink and white blossoms soon.
